Dementia Friendly Bloomington seeks to empower and center the voices of People Living with Dementia.
Every other year the Dementia Action Alliance sponsors a national conference to highlight innovative practices from across the country and to bring together like minded individuals - with and without dementia - to develop ideas to bring back to their own communities.
Since 2019, Dementia Friendly Bloomington has offered scholarships for people living with dementia and their care partners, so they may attend, participate, and enhance the impact of Dementia Friendly efforts in Indiana.
